About Colour My Dreams
Colour My Dreams started after many years of sitting in front of a computer and feeling the need to get back to the crafting days of my youth. Finding my bag full of yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks and macrame cord in my loft rekindled my love of macrame, knitting and crochet and I decided to give them another try. It was like riding a bike - you never forget, but you have to complete a few rides around the block to get your balance again and regain confidence in your physical abilities.
Whether it be my skills as a designer or a crafter, I've got a lot of years of knowledge and practise to draw on. I'm loving every minute of rediscovering some old techniques, learning many new ones and finding a fresh, enthusiastic generation of crafters who love creating in these relaxing and satisfying ways.

The Campaign for Wool was launched in 2010 to educate consumers about the benefits of wool and help to support and grow the wool industry. Run by a coalition of industry groups, convened by His Majesty King Charles III, when he was The Prince of Wales, the Campaign works to engage consumers through exciting fashion, interiors and artisan activities centring around Wool Month each year.
Since launch the Campaign for Wool has grown into a global initiative adopted by the wool textile trade, international brands and small independent businesses all of whom want to support rising consumer demand for one of the world’s finest natural fibres.

If it can be made with cord, wool, cotton or practically any type of thread that is responsibly sourced and manufactured, I'll give it a go.
